Abstract

Advances in information technology are driving companies to implement digital systems for inventory management and asset monitoring. PT PLN Nusa Daya’s Sulawesi 1 Operational Unit in Tikala still relies on manual processes, which result in reporting delays, recording errors, and limitations in monitoring the condition and location of assets. This study aims to develop a mobile-based inventory information and monitoring system (SI-INVADA) using Flutter to improve the effectiveness of asset management. The method used is the Agile approach with a simplified Scrum framework, including the creation of a product backlog, the execution of sprints, and sprint reviews. Data collection techniques were conducted through observation, documentation, and literature review. System testing utilized Black Box Testing to ensure functional compliance and the System Usability Scale (SUS) to evaluate usability. The results showed that all system functions operated as required, with a 100% success rate in Black Box Testing and an average system response time of 1.37 seconds. The SUS evaluation yielded an average score of 86.7, which falls into the “Acceptable” category, with an “Excellent” rating and a grade of B. The system provides features for inventory management, monitoring of asset condition and location, maintenance history, and an integrated reporting dashboard. Thus, SI-INVADA has met functional and usability requirements and provided a solution to the challenges of manual asset management in terms of record-keeping, information retrieval, and report generation.
