Issue 3 <strong>November</strong></p> Forum Kerjasama Pendidikan Tinggi (FKPT) en-US Health and Contemporary Technology Journal 2722-0885 Studi Pemanfaatan Tumbuhan Berkhasiat Obat di Kecamatan Lhoksukon Kabupaten Aceh Utara https://ejurnal.seminar-id.com/index.php/hytech/article/view/87 <p>This research is an ethnopharmacological study on the use of medicinal plants by the people of Lhoksukon Subdistrict, North Aceh Regency, which aims to find out the extent of community knowledge in Lhoksukon District, North Aceh Regency, in the utilization of medicinal plants, what medicinal species are medicinal in Lhoksukon District North Aceh Regency, how processing of medicinal plants, and which part of the plant is often used in making drugs. This research is descriptive, with the population of the entire community of Lhoksukon Subdistrict and the sample in this study is 30 people. The sampling technique was purposive sampling, data collection was done by interviewing and distributing questionnaires. The results showed that there were 71 species of plants that were used as treatment grouped into 43 families. The parts of the plant that are used are 9 parts of plants that are used as ingredients of traditional medicine, namely leaves, fruit, flowers, tubers, rhizomes, roots, seeds, sap and all plants. The highest percentage of parts used are leaves as much as 12% and the least are roots, seeds, sap and whole plants as much as (0.6%). The method of processing as medicine is by boiling 25.56%, ground (11.36%), eaten directly (7.1%), blended (3.55%), brewed (2.84), grated (2.3%), ditetesi (2.3%), and ditayukan (0.71%).</p> Ria Ceriana Dewi Sofia Shinta ##submission.copyrightStatement## 2020-03-11 2020-03-11 1 1 1 4 Studi Kualitatif Aktivitas Amilolitik Bakteri Asam Laktat Yang Diisolasi Dari Pangan Tradisional Aceh Pliek U https://ejurnal.seminar-id.com/index.php/hytech/article/view/88 <p>Amylase is one of &nbsp;the most essential enzymes that have potentially widely used in various industrial fields such as food, fermentation, and pharmacy. Amylase can be obtained from diversified organisms such as plants, animals and microbes. However, the main sources of these enzymes are bacteria and fungi that have dominated utilization in industrial sectors. This study was aimed to obtain the potential for amylolytic lactic acid bacteria (LAB) isolated from pliek u Acehnese traditional food. Amylolytic LABs were isolated with starch plate method and tested with Lugol's iodine reagent to measured the amylolytic index. The isolation results showed that 5 amylolytic potential LAB isolates were found with cells morphological characters &nbsp;were bacilli, Gram positive and motile. Terhadap Pertumbuhan Bakteri Staphylococcus Aureus https://ejurnal.seminar-id.com/index.php/hytech/article/view/89 <p>Red galangal is a plant that belongs to the Zingiberaceae group that can live in the highlands and lowlands. Red galangal has chemical properties namely flavonoids, phenols, terpenoids, tannins which can be used as a treatment for skin diseases such as scabies, tinea versicolor, ringworm and burns which are often caused by Staphylococcus aureus bacteria. This study aims to determine the inhibition of red galangal juice on the growth of Staphylococcus aureus. This study uses an experimental method using the disc diffusion method. The sampling technique uses a purposive sampling technique. The sample used in this study was the extract of red galangal rhizome. The results showed that red ginger juice could inhibit the growth of Staphylococcus aureus at a concentration of 60% obtained by inhibition zones 13.88, 80% concentrations obtained by inhibition zones 16.5 and 100% concentrations obtained by inhibition zones 18.33 mm and included in the category.</p> Isra Rinella Ika Mustika Cut Surianti Chairunnisa Chairunnisa ##submission.copyrightStatement## 2020-03-11 2020-03-11 1 1 10 12 Sistem Pakar Mendiagnosa Penyakit Kolera Menerapkan Metode Hybrid Case Based https://ejurnal.seminar-id.com/index.php/hytech/article/view/91 <p>As technology develops, a system that is capable of adopting human processes and ways of thinking is developed, an expert system that contains certain knowledge so that everyone can use it to solve specific problems, namely the problem of diagnosing cholera. Cholera is an acute diarrheal disease which in a few hours can cause rapid and severe progressive dehydration and can cause death caused by the bacterium Vibrio Cholerae. The purpose of this research is to build an expert system to diagnose cholera in order to be able to do prevention and treatment early. The expert system to diagnose cholera using a hybrid case based method aims to trace the symptoms displayed in the form of questions in order to diagnose the type of illness. This expert system is able to recognize the type of cholera after consultation by answering several questions raised by the application of the expert system and can conclude several types of diseases suffered by the patient. The recognized disease data adjusts the rules that are made to match the symptoms of cholera. The design of this application is made with the PHP programming language and MySQL database. Society is a layman who does not understand health problems. If there is a health disturbance to them then they are more entrusted to the expert or expert doctor. In this case, the community as service users more need an expert who can make it easier to diagnose the disease early in order to be able to take precautions early which would require time if consulting with a specialist. Because of this, we need a tool that can diagnose diseases in the form of an expert system. Bayes method is a method used to calculate the uncertainty of data into definite data by comparing yes and no. Certainty factor is a method to prove whether a fact is certain or uncertain in the metric form that is usually used in expert systems. Expert system is a system that is able to mimic the reasoning of an expert so that computers can solve problems as is usually done by experts. Knowledge stored in expert systems is generally taken from a human expert in the matter. The important role of an expert can be replaced by a computer program which in principle works to provide a definite solution as is usually done by an expert.
